Net Painting // PEAM 2005 curated by: Shockart.net
Shockart.net leads to Peam 2005 a selection of digital pictures, all available on the Internet, which could decorate our homes for free. "Net paintings" aims to give visibility to that form of non-interactive web_art that easily accessible to the "outsiders", may come home of the most experienced at the same time. The artists presented, painters of the third millennium, can take advantage of the use of pixels, monitor and mouse as "tools of the trade". Demiurges network shape the field by acting on different levels of digital communication (sound, image, movement), generating a variety of digital works and sometimes surreal scenarios, each in tune with their creative sensibilities.
Artists:
Oculart (Canada)
Pintaycolorea (Salamanca, Spain)
Meta2 (Bergamo)
Nikky (Rome)

A bridge of union that, by combining different cultures, will show the public a broad spectrum of expressive possibilities in the practice of VJing.
The performances of vjs invited will take place throughout the period of the event, connecting the various moments to create a continuous uninterrupted view.
